Argos Update: Banded Hour Requests

Re: Banded hour requests

Members in Argos have begun submitting written requests to be placed on a band of weekly working hours as was contained in our latest agreement with the Company. Since this is a new process for both members and the company there may be some confusion regarding how the requests are to be correctly processed and how averaging of weekly hours over the previous 12 months should be done. If you have any queries or doubts throughout the processing of your request please don’t hesitate to ask for support and assistance from your shop steward or your local Mandate office.

Also make sure to read and understand the new process regarding the allocation of additional hours in Argos. It’s important that members make sure this process is adhered to in stores. Again if you have any queries contact your shop steward or Mandate office.
