Support the No Profit On Pandemic campaign
Tuesday 15 March 2022Mandate Trade Union is calling on all members to support the www.NoProfitOnPandemic.eu campaign by signing the petition in support of a TRIPS Waiver.
Ireland only needs 400 signatures to achieve its European Commission set threshold, which is entirely within our grasp.
Half the world’s population remains unable to secure a vaccine against coronavirus. At the same time the prospect for a new variant presenting or our own defenses against this threat to humankind weakening is a real possibility.
This threat remains real and we must not give up on those who need our help most. Whole populations, especially in the Southern Hemisphere, remain at great risk.
Please help ensure that Ireland plays it’s part in putting the case for a TRIPS Waiver to the European Commission.
