The workers at Corrib Oil, Ballinasloe, have thanked the Ballinasloe public for their fantastic support for their strike last Saturday.
It’s understood, that despite the fuel station reducing its prices to counteract the strike, its turnover was significantly down because of the huge support from the public in Ballinasloe and its environs.
Mandate’s members at Corrib Oil, Ballinasloe, are also very appreciative of the practical solidarity shown by the union’s President, Denise Curran, and NEC members, Eoghan Fox and James Rabbitte, who made big efforts to be there on the picket line last Saturday.
