Mandate supports Cost of Living Protests on Saturday, 18th June

Mandate Trade Union is supporting the Cost of Living Protests taking place on Saturday, June 18th. Events will take place all across the country including:

  • Dublin: 1.00pm Garden of Remembrance, Parnell Sq.
  • Cork: 2.00pm Outside Brown Thomas on Patrick’s Street.
  • Limerick: 2.00pm Bedford Row.
  • Galway: 2.00pm Eyre Square.
  • Sligo: 1.00 pm Sligo Town Hall.

The meeting point for Mandate members will be:

  • Dublin: 12:30pm outside the Mandate Trade Union Hall, O’Lehane House, 9 Cavendish Row, Dublin 1.
  • Limerick: 1.30pm Mandate office, Catherine Place Limerick.
  • Cork: 1.30pm at the Mandate office, Emmett Place.

The Cost of Living Coalition has agreed to campaign for the following demands:

1 Control Energy Costs

2 Protect Incomes

3 Make Housing Affordable

4  Invest in Public Services

5  Share The Wealth
