Mandate Trade Union Press Statement Regarding Current Dispute in Boots

During the last couple of weeks, Boots Ireland and Mandate Trade Union have been meeting at the Labour Relations Commission. After lengthy discussions the parties have been able to reach agreement and recommend a set of proposals regarding changes to Boots Ireland’s employment package. These proposals will now be subject to a ballot of union members over the next couple of weeks. Accordingly, all strike action planned will not take place.
