Mandate supports #NoWomanLeftBehind rally
Monday 28 February 2022Mandate Trade Union is supporting the National Women’s Council’s (NWC) rally entitled #NoWomanLeftBehind in Dublin outside the Dáil (Kildare St entrance) on Saturday 5th March at 12pm to call for political leadership and action.
All Mandate members are encouraged to join the demand for change this International Women’s Day.
This International Women’s Day the rally will focus on:
- an end to violence against women
- a healthcare system that has women at its centre
- women’s representation in all our diversity in all spaces where decisions are made affecting women’s lives
- access to quality public services, including childcare and housing, and a decent income on which we all can live
The NWCI are eager to make the rally as inclusive and accessible as possible. To create a safe place for people with mobility issues they will have a small cordoned off seated section at the front of the rally. Spaces are limited so if any Mandate members would like to reserve a seat please contact susanmcc@nwci.ie.
Mandate members should assemble in Mandate’s Head Office Hall, O’Lehane House, 9 Cavendish Row, Dublin 1 at 10:30am on Saturday Head Office.
