With the 25th February confirmed as polling day for Election 2011, it only takes a few short steps to make sure you have your say in the formation of the next Government by ensuring that you’re registered to vote.??

Checking if you’re registered is quick and simple and can be done in any public office or alternatively by clicking onto www.checktheregister.ie and following the instructions;

• If you’re not registered at your present address, download the RFA3, get it signed by your local Garda Siochana and return it to the Franchise Section of your county/city council.
• If you’re not registered at all, download the RFA2, get it signed by your local Garda Siochana and return it to the Franchise Section of your county/city council.
• Deadline: 8 February 2011.
• Completed hardcopy of forms must be returned to the Franchise Section of the relevant county/city council by the 8 February, 2011.
