Mandate’s Organising and training centre is located at Distillery Road, Dublin 3. This purpose designed training facility has been developed to the highest standards incorporating modern equipment and state of the art training rooms.
Mandate Trade Union through its Organising and Training Centre is committed to providing high quality training and learning that is accessible to learners in a manner that meets their needs. Mandate’s training and learning ethos is learner focused, and through its organising and training centre, it aims to support and enable learners to realize their full potential.
The training Centre is a recogised FETAC accredited centre. Courses delivered through the training centre can offer accreditation to the trainees.
The Connolly room can accommodate 30 people with ease and allows for presentations to be delivered using an interactive white board.
The O’Lehane room has a duel role as a training room and a meeting room.
The Moran room has 20 computers connected to the tutor for Information Technology training.
Soft seating areas enable course participants to engage in small group discussions if a course design includes breakout sessions.
The modern kitchen is equipped to cater for large and small groups in this relaxed environment trainees can chat over a tea or coffee. Smoking facilities are also available.
A comprehensive training programme is in place. Training will be delivered in the centre and in various locations around the country.
Courses in Union Representation at Introductory and Advanced level, Basic and Intermediate IT, Health/ Safety and Pensions training are available for members.
Staff training for Mandate employees is also held in the Training Centre.
Mandate’s training centre provides a healthy and safe learning environment that promotes a positive learning experience.
Mandate’s courses are free to members.
