Mandate Seek Meeting about the Closure of Menary’s Tullamore

Mandate has written to management seeking a meeting in relation to the workers affected by the closure of the Menary’s store in Tullamore. It was announced today that the store was closing after many years of trading in Church Street in the town. David Miskell, Industrial Officer says “engagement will commence with the relevant parties to discuss redundancies, possible redeployment and other employment options that may be available”. “We will be giving the workers every support possible at this difficult time”.
